Out of Place

This piece is an acrylic painting inspired by my high school experience that was made over the course of 2 weeks. It represents the feeling of displacement throughout online schooling, social circles, and preparing to move onto a new stage in life after graduation. The main component to completeing this piece included working in thin layers of paint in order to create depth, along with the use of neon and earthy paints to produce a otherworldly or mystical aesthetic.
